Cameroon: Growing religious radicalization

On 3 September 2015, the International Crisis Group (ICG) stated: "?Religious intolerance is a growing but seriously underestimated risk in Cameroon", referring to the growing tensions between Christian revivalist and Muslim fundamentalist movements. Dennis, persecution analyst for World Watch Research, comments: "World Watch Research has been following Cameroon for some years already and confirms the trends signaled by ICG. What is especially worrying is not only that the attacks from Nigeria"s Boko Haram have increased but also that religious radicalization is occurring inside Cameroon."
